Students are eligible for transportation service through Utica Community Schools if their residence is within the Utica Community Schools boundaries.
Students are assigned to stops and should be at the location ten minutes before the bus is scheduled to arrive. While departing the bus, students should pay close attention to the driver to ensure they exit in a safe manner. It is important that families utilize the stops assigned to their children, as drivers use the passenger lists for safety and security measures to make sure they are transporting only students eligible to ride the bus.
Routes follow all State of Michigan standards and criteria for the establishment of bus services as well as district policy (Policy 3400). A referral tool that explains guidelines for establishing bus routes is available on the Michigan Department of Education web site.
